*Monday-Friday Read the Article over Lincoln's Assassination.  Be sure to discuss who is involved in the assassination plot, why are they involved, who is supposed to be assassinated, and what happens to the assassins, the country, and how does this play a role in the confederates fate after the war.  Take Notes

Week 3:  January 17th - 19th, 2024

 

*Monday:  No School MLK 

*Wednesday-Friday: Read the Article over the Plains Wars/Native American Wars with the United States.  Go over the Long Walk (Navajo), The Sand Creek Massacre (Cheyenne & Arapaho), Custer's Last Stand, and the Tragedy at Wounded Knee (Lakota).

Take Notes over the information and be prepared to discuss.  Did these wars have to happen?  Could certain massacres have been avoided? Who would you blame and why?

Possible Quiz on Thursday and Friday.
