ABOUT ME
Family: My wife Kristy and I have been married for 26 years. Kristy is currently a pharmacist
at Walmart after spending over 20 years at Shopko. Kristy and I have four children. Our
oldest daughter, Ellie is a sophomore at IC majoring in education with an emphasis in
advanced mathematics. Katie is a freshman at Millikin and is majoring in occupational
therapy. Our son Gus is a sophomore at Routt and our youngest, Adam, is in the sixth
grade at Our Saviour.
Principalship: Prior to becoming the Principal here at Meredosia-Chambersburg I spent two
years as the Jr-Sr Principal at Palmyra-Northwestern.
Teaching/Coaching: I spent 19 years teaching and coaching in Scott County. I started teaching
at Bluffs in the Fall of 1998 were I taught PE and Drivers Education for 10 years. I was
the head boys basketball coach, 6 years, and an assistant football coach for the
Meredosia-Chambersburg, Bluffs, Griggville-Perry Co-op for four years. I spent 9 years
teaching at Winchester. I was the head boys basketball for West Central for 13 years an
assistant football coach 6 years. I spent two years of teaching high special education at
New Berlin after graduating from SIUE.
College: Currently attending UIS seeking certification for School Superintendent and SCBO
UIS class of 2017 - Masters in Educational Leadership
Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville Class of 1996 - BS - Physical
Education/Driver Education
Military: 21 years with the Air national Guard, Retired in 2010 at the rank of Master Sergeant
