Who Done It?

Come out and see the MCHS Dead Drama Society’s “Who Done It” on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 7 p.m.  The play is a murder mystery that is sure to keep you guessing who the killer is and when they will strike next.  The Cost is a Free-Donation play.  Anything given will be appreciated & go to the MCHS Drama Class.

FFA Golf Outing

The Meredosia-Chambersburg FFA will be hosting a golf outing on April 20 at Plum Creek Golf Course. Tee off is at 12:00 p.m. The cost is $60 for an individual or $240 for a team of 4. To sign up, call 217-248-1237.

MCHS Student Council Hot Wings Challenge

The Meredosia-Chambersburg High School Student Council is hosting a Hot Wings Challenge on Saturday, April 13th in the MCHS gymnasium. A pork chop supper will be held fro 5-6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria and the hot wing challenge will start at 7 p.m.

FFA Meat Judging Team

Meredosia-Chambersburg FFA chapter placed in the top 10 teams at the Section 13 Meat Judging! Owen Luckett was the highest scoring team member! Congratulations team! 

Latin Conference Participants

Two Latin students traveled to Willowbrook, IL to attend the 63rd Illinois Junior Classics League North convention this weekend. They participated in spirit competitions, academic testing, art judging, colloquia sessions, and much more!

MCHS Follies

The MCHS Dead Drama Society presents "MCHS Follies" on December 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the small gym. This will be the first play in this gym for over 60 years. Come and have some fun!

Trunk or Treat

The MCHS Trunk or Treat will be Sunday, October 29 from 5 pm to 6 pm. Kids who are in costume will be treated.

C.D. Davidsmeyer Visits

C.D. Davidsmeyer visited the 7th grade history class. They learned about the legislative branch. They asked him questions about the legislative process, what he likes about his job, what it takes to be a representative, and so on. They had a lot of fun and a few even got his signature.

Life Skills Class Helps Out

Our Life Skills classes have been busy these last few weeks! In addition to helping with the PBIS Store, including counting and recording money, we are learning confidence by presenting topics to our class audience. Life Skills is also preparing for our first MC Cafe day, where we will make and serve treats to staff. We are also brushing up on skills like being tidy (such as vacuuming up our mess after we shred papers for staff), and being respectful by folding our flag with reverence. 

Life Skills Class Visits The Library

Our Life Skills class visited the Meredosia library on Tuesday. They presented a wonderful dinosaur lesson and we even got to build our own jar terrarium featuring dinosaurs. We are so thankful for the opportunity to visit the town library twice a month!
